Mary Zogg of Family Law Advocate Urges Paternity Awareness

Hollywood, FL (PRWEB) June 13, 2015

Mary Zogg, of Family Law Advocate advises fathers to educate themselves on their rights and what they are entitled to, when it comes to benefits and protections, especially prior to their child’s birth. For more than a decade, Mary has been handling family law cases concerning paternity, custody, divorce, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and more.

“In family law in Florida, the sanctity of marriage provides parental rights to a father subsequent to a physical separation or breakup,” said Mary. “However, without the marriage contract, the father is without legal rights unless, and until, he obtains a court order giving him these rights.”

A recent Family Law Advocate blog says, “ The identity of the father on the birth certificate creates a presumption of paternity; however, this presumption is not conclusive; it can be overturned. To establish rights as a father who has not married the mother, you have to bring a court action called a paternity action.”

Additionally, with the birth of a child, a father in Florida is subject to the financial obligation of child support; however, without affirmative court action or agreement and acquiescence by the mother, he doesn’t have parental responsibility or rights to time share.

Stephen Frederick Agency and Nonprofit Meals on Wheels and More Initiate New Charity Campaign in Texas to Support Program for Adults with Alzheimers Disease

Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 18, 2015

With a new community program in Texas, Stephen Frederick Agency announced a new charity campaign to raise funds in support of Mike’s Place, a program dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live in their own homes, healthily and safely. Contributions to the remarkable efforts of Mike’s Place can now be made through the campaign’s page at http://www.stephenfrederickassociates.com/Warm-Meals-Warming-Hearts_10_community_cause. The agency is also donating $ 10 to the cause for each recommendation sent their way that successfully receives a quote from their knowledgeable insurance professionals.

Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Stephen Frederick Agency marches on to ensure customers, friends, family and neighbors are always in good hands. The agency just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part of, electing every 60 days a new individual, organization or family in need to receive support.

“It must be extremely difficult for people with disabilities to be forced out of their own homes due to physical or mental challenges. It is so amazing that Mike’s Place helps them, in many cases, continue to enjoy that comfort while securing their health and safety. We want to support those efforts and make sure this program delivers peace of mind to many more families in our community,” said Stephen Frederick, the Agency’s principal.

The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through its social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through a monthly magazine, delivered to thousands of households in Texas, where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature the campaign and details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue can be accessed here: http://www.stephenfrederickassociates.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_46.

To join Stephen Frederick Agency in supporting Mike’s Place, donors are certainly encouraged to visit http://www.stephenfrederickassociates.com/Warm-Meals-Warming-Hearts_10_community_cause, and also to share the page with friends and family. Contributors may be acknowledged for their donations through the agency’s monthly magazine.

Once the current campaign is over, Stephen Frederick will continue to work closely with Meals on Wheels and More and other nonprofit organizations in the area, to make sure resources are directed to capable hands that can help better the local community, one family or person at a time. Information regarding past and current campaigns supported by the Agency can be found at http://www.stephenfrederickassociates.com/community-cause.
